If you have a special project or a special need that is not listed above, contact PBI- We can help! We have worked with hundreds of clients to develop customized solutions. Listed below are some case studies of clients who have used our services in innovative ways to accomplish their goals. Case Study 1: “I need to do a large mailing but I’m not sure which addresses are bad!” We have had several clients who have used our Location Service for more than just obtaining participant’s addresses. In many cases, a mailing needs to be done to determine which addresses are bad. The benefit of PBI conducting your mailing is that we receive all the returned mail. We will perform the initial mailing to your addresses, and monitor each mail piece carefully. As some mail comes back undeliverable, we add people to our Location Service quickly and cost-effectively. In the end, you will have an updated database and your mailing will be complete. Case Study 2: “ I need to do a mailing with the updated adressees you provided.” If you need to send out literature to your participants after using our Location Service, we have the sophisticated mailing software and machinery to help you with this task. Case Study 3: “I need to verify that the SSNs in my participant files are correct” There are various reasons why it is important for a plan to have the correct SSN for each of it's participants. The IRS requires valid SSNs on ALL tax reporting forms. Valid SSNs are also imperative in determining out if a participant is deceased and they are also important for locating current addresses. PBI can send your data to the Social Security Administration and provide a report identifying incorrect SSNs. Case Study 4: “I need to obtain current addresses but I also need to retrieve other data.” PBI has received many inquires over the years regarding missing participant information (beyond current addresses). For instance, one project involved obtaining dates of births of participants birthdates to determine eligibility for retirement. For further information, contact us and we may be able to tailor a project to collect specifically to meet your information needs. * If these case studies do not apply to your needs, feel free to contact us and discuss a project. If we cannot help you, there is a good chance that we may be able to point you in the right direction! Back To Top |
